Cucumber Sushi and Miso Soup
Cucumber Sushi and Miso Soup My first attempt to make Cucumber Sushi was an epic fail. This is the second attempt. It just looked so pretty that I had to take a picture of it. The Miso Soup was a mix.

Square Root Day Cake
Square Root Day Cake In celebration of Square Root Day, 3/3/09, I made a cake. Admittedly it was basically just an excuse to make and eat a cake.

Greenware Dishes
Greenware Dishes I decided to make myself some matching dishware while at Deer Valley YMCA camp this year. This is the finished result. A serving plate, 6 rice bowls, 6 plates, and a spoon holder. They all have cherry blossoms painted on them by hand, in underglaze. That means 3 coats of paint, but since this is basically white on black I used 5 coats of paint.

Graveyard Shift
Graveyard Shift Drew this by hand, scanned it into the computer, then coloring it within Photoshop Elements 3. I don't really like Danny or the gravestones, but the sky and tree came out good.

Fall
Fall Drew this by hand, scanned it into the computer, then coloring it within Photoshop Elements 3. The hands didn't come out half bad. I always have such a hard time with them.

I don't know why he's falling or where he's falling from.

Sunrise into the Sprit World
Sunrise into the Sprit World Done entirely in Photoshop Elements 3.

This is suppose to be an Inari Shrine, but the fox statues didn't turn out to well, so I left them out.

Inari Shrine Close Up
Inari Shrine Close Up This is a close up of the Shrine from my 'Sunrise into the Spirit World'. The glowing orb is a Hoshi No Tama or Star Ball. The Hoshi No Tama is carried by Kitsune and contains a portion of there power.
Done entirely in Photoshop Elements 3.

Star Watching
Star Watching Drew this by hand, scanned it into the computer, then coloring it within Photoshop. I'm pleased with this, especially the way the moon turned out.

Sometimes it's just the simple things in life.

Family Tile
Family Tile Did this at summer camp, penciled freehand then painted using acrylics.

It's suppose to represent the family. Xena, the family pet, is in the center of an upside down compass, symbolizing our ability to get lost. At the four corners starting in the upper left and going clockwise: a computer, skier hitting a tree, scuba gear, and ivy. The reason the skier is hitting a tree...well you always talk about the near death experiences in skiing and not the good runs.

The TARDIS
The TARDIS I'm named after a companion in Doctor Who, so I would have to either hate the show or love it. There is no middle ground.
